Stockholm in Monochrome

There is something really satisfying about documenting a city on a roll of black and white film. I have a roll from New York City in the summer that I really truly love (I'll post them some day), and now I present my next city, Stockholm in the winter. These are the result of some long, cold walks around the city with my AE-1 and 36 Agfa exposures during January and February. Presented in no particular order- I was mostly lost and wandering when I took them anyway.

Summertime on the Ichetucknee

There's no greater feeling and nothing more beautiful than the cold cold water and the light shining through the tall and ancient trees of the Ichetucknee River in the dead heat of a Florida summer. This roll of film is from last summer, when my sister came to town. There is a warmth to these memories, and a love in how they seem to recreate themselves each year, always happy and wild and free.

Oh and just like the river I've been running ever since
